Introducing the
Ki-Rin dynamics Action Learning Programme, commencing March 2011.
What is Action Learning?
Many of the issues experienced by leaders in the Charity sector in managing, developing and leading organisations have common threads running through them.
Action learning provides a dynamic platform for leaders to learn through practical experience of sharing issues with other leaders. It is
a development process that enhances individual and organisational learning.
Over a given period of time, leaders meet to work in a small group to tackle important organisational issues or problems. The owner of the
issue explores options, identifies ways forward and is challenged, encouraged and supported to take effective action. Through openness and confidentiality, and with the help of a facilitator, all members reflect and learn from each other.
How would Action Learning benefit you?
The programme will deal with issues that most CEOs face and, through Action Learning, you will receive peer support, feedback and inputs on:
- Managing and leading your workforce, especially through times of change and pressure
- Developing your Board and managing effective relationships with members
- Managing relationships with the organisation's stakeholders
- Working effectively with limited personal and organisational resources
- Finding a place for your personal and professional development on the priorities list
